INspired Peace

I get inspired by so many things so of course when I saw the following quote, it started me thinking…

"If your life's work can be accomplished in your lifetime, you're not thinking big enough." ~Wes Jackson

Along with all of the other fun that I do in my life, I AM the co-creator ofPeace In OUR Lifetime. (http://www.peaceinourlifetime.org ) Even though the title of the organization says “OUR Lifetime,” it is up to the next generation to keep it going.

From the perspective of what we see in the Media, what we may hear around the water cooler and what we may believe happens around the world every day, it is easy to take hold of the opinion that Peace is something that is not attainable. With so much blood being shed every day, how can we ever have Peace on Earth, it is just impossible.

What if, I told you that it is possible…and not only is it a possibility but we already have it! Hold on, before you simply hit the delete button and dismiss this message as ramblings of a mad woman, please allow me the opportunity to help you shift your perspective. Ready ? Here we go.

If today 6.7 billion people did not kill anyone why did YOU not hear about it? If those 6.7 billion people chose to not focus on .1 that perhaps did, would that not mean that the over whelming majority of the people on this earth are choosing to live in Peace? Today there is an estimated 6,858,500,342 people alive on the planet. Isn’t it about time that we start focusing on the Peace that is created every day, rather than the inhuman acts of violence of the few?

We need to understand that the majority of people ARE living in peace, and even though there are still horrible things that do happen, there is much more Peace than not peace. It is really what WE choose to focus on that forms our perspective. Once we realize that there really is peace on earth, then we can start working on the solutions for transforming the non-peace into peace. Every single day, peaceful actions are created; kind things are being done for others, even right in the middle of war zones.

The lovely Lynne Hazelden joined us and we spoke about how amazing it will be this year on Peace Day (September 21^st) when we stand united with Peace organizations’ around the globe to give “Thanks & Gratitude” for the peace that is created every day… and usually goes unacknowledged .

I hope that you are having a wonderful week so far! Instead of sending out just one Inspired Story I wanted to invite you to the place where you can find lots and lots of inspired sharing. Pening= an invitation to the world to become authors /contributors of all things Positive.

When we place our focus on Positive information, ideas or events, we create an EAUPENING in our own consciousness to create more of the same. The EAUPENING is a free MOVEMENT to invoke acts of kindness throughout the WORLD and to create PEACE on EARTH.

The EAUPENING provides a place for everyone, any age, race, religion or background to fill their cup with all things positive. It is a place where content is monitored by the users. People can drink from this virtual Mecca of positive conversations and information then come away feeling refreshed and better for the experience. The intent is to grow a place where our world view can grow and expand from a sharing of information with a positive message. Inspiring others to go out into the world and do the same. Pay it forward and then come back and share.

When we place our focus on Positive information, ideas or events, we create an EAUPENING in our own consciousness to create more of the same.

What I See In YOU.

I was inspired to get out of bed early this morning to remind YOU how wonderful you truly are! As I lay their thinking about how I can help you see what I see in YOU, I knew that I needed to get up and start sharing. Whenever there is a time when you lose faith in how amazing you are, you can borrow some of my faith in you. Look at you through my eyes and see the divine spirit that I see. Look past the cloths and the hair style… gaze deeply into the depths of your soul and uncover the divinity that you truly are.

Set aside the “story” of you, to revile the knowledge and power that is truly you. Let go of the ego’s illusion of you to discover the brilliance and love that is your true essence. You are a divine Being having a human experience. YOU are Divine. You are Love. Joy is your birthright. YOU are here to discover the grace, humility and kindness that you are meant to share with the world. Your mission on earth is to do good… share your gifts with the world and shine your light brightly. You can help no one by keeping yourself small.

See yourself in my eyes, borrow my faith in you if you need it… because I do believe in you! I know that you can accomplish anything that you set your mind to. You can go on! You can make it. This time here on earth is but a moment in eternity. We are here to learn and grow together. If you need a shoulder, know that you can always use mine…but it is up to you, to pick yourself up… and keep going. I believe in YOU. Facebook 101..The New Face of Facebook!

Facebook 101 The New Face of Facebook!
During a phone conversation with a friend of mine that I have not spoken to for a long time, he lovingly said that I was the worst “Spammer” on his friend list. I was in shock thinking.. I have not sent out messages to my groups for a long time..and really keep ‘invites’ to a minimum. Then I realized what he was speaking about..and had to laugh!

He was referring to the Facebook news feed. Since facebook automatically gathers information from wall posts that friends make, he thought it was me sending messages to him! Since he is a computer ‘geek’ and he never knew what was happening, I could not help but wonder how many other people in my facebook family were of the same thinking… so I am here to offer a little help!
My perspective of facebook is through the eyes of someone who has about 5000 friends.. so in the regular news feed, I hardly see the same person twice in one day. Also, I have so many people “tagging” me in notes, I just don’t have time to read them all.(sorry)

So, if you don’t know what you don’t know, you can’t do anything to fix (help, change) your facebook experience! If you are interested, I am going to put together some training videos to help visually show you what I am about to explain…let me know if that will help you!

Let’s start with the News Feed:
Facebook enables you to see what’s happening with your friends through news feeds.
The News feed is found on your “Home” wall! It is a list of your friends, pages & now group wall postings. YOU can adjust who you see in your feeds… There are a couple of options
News Feed and Live Feed (let’s you view the feed the moment people post.) News feed gathers the most interesting things your friends are posting..(based on ‘Likes’) and the live feed gives a real time update of all feeds.
You can adjust the content that appears on your home page by adjusting the settings on the left hand side of your screen. Adjusting your setting helps you change the face of your facebook! It will help you adjust your perspective to a different view.

Tagging: When someone Tags you in a note or a picture it doesn’t always mean that YOU are in the story or the picture... people do that as a way of quickly sharing the content with YOU. It means that “this” is something that I think you would be interested in either seeing or reading.

@ replies... now you can tag your friends by adding their name to a status update or send them a quick shout out to thank them for posting something that you are going to share! Give it a try, it is a great new feature. Write @Marcia Johnson (or anyone) to see what I mean... then not only will the link show up on your wall... but it will show up on theirs as well.

Lists: In order to quickly see what your personal friends or family are up to...create a List. On your friends page (link is on the top of your screen) You have the option to create lists... name them whatever you want, that way not only can you quickly invite people to join a group or page, but you also now have the option of viewing that group news feed on your home page.... the option is on the left hand side of home page once groups are created.

Groups vs Pages: I am a fan of both, now that FB has changed groups to resemble pages... so far the only difference that I can see is the special features and statistics that pages offer. With these new changes, groups that have over 5000 members can still be in contact with their members as well as have their content appear in member newsfeeds.

Like: When you click on the little Like button under a post... it helps promote the post onto more and more newsfeeds, so if you really do like a post, please click like to show your support!

Email Updates: I highly suggest adjusting these, or you will become flooded with FB stuff! You can the types of information that you receive in your email inbox by clicking on the settings feature (top right of FB screen) There you will find three main options.. Account Settings, Privacy Settings, and Application Settings. From there you have there a merit of options. Do take a look, turn off the ones that you find annoying, so that you facebook experience turns out to be a pleasant one!

Realizing OUR Mentors Are Human…

My personal mentors and I are separated by the pedestal that I place them on. I clearly remember the day when I realized that my father was ‘Human.’ It was the day that he told me that my mother and he were getting a divorce. I was 13 the day that I held my father in my arms while he told me through his tears that his marriage was over. Even as a child, I was the one that he could lean on. It was such a shock to me, not that they were concluding their time together; but that I was no longer the acorn and my father the mighty oak tree that I had made him out to be in my mind. Although he was ahead of me on life experience… he was the same as me…he was a Divine Being having a Human experience.

I have had the opportunity to have met many of my mentors. Looking up to people who have either accomplished what I would like to, or who have pioneered the way to make my life’s purpose much easier have allowed me to realize that I CAN achieve anything that I set my mind to. Even though these people have accomplished great things, they are still Humans who sometimes make mistakes..and at times..don’t even believe in themselves.

Several years ago, I had built a friendship with a Transformational life coach who I greatly admired. I spent many hours on the phone with her … sharing, learning and growing. I even traveled all the way across the country to stay at her home and attend some of her courses. She was fantastic…until, I got in business with her. I quickly realized that she was not who she said she was..nor did she practice what she preached. “When it was all said and done, there was a lot more said than done”… and I was disappointed to learn that she did not live up to her own definition of Integrity…. “ALWAYS doing what YOU say YOU are going to do…when YOU say YOU are going to do it!”

Even though this was a pricey relationship, it allowed me the opportunity to look within to examine what/who I was Being during our friendship. In my mind, I had elevated her to a higher standard than I had had for myself..because I placed her on a pedestal. Reality in it all was…she was HUMAN…and made mistakes. My learning came when I realized that I had changed my own standards..because I had made her better than me, in my own mind. So I blindly let her do things that I would not have normally allowed.

Another woman that I have looked up to because of her amazing ability to market herself and her talents was Silvia Brown. WOW, she is extremely talented in putting out new products at an unbelievable rate. Even if you are not ‘into’ her type of product, you have to applaud her ability to produce. I met Silvia and spoke with her … and came away disappointed. (It could have been an off day for her but..) I was disappointed…because once again, I had made her out to be MORE than ME. That day, she was a very negative, unhappy and overworked woman. She looked so very tired…and it had me question..was all her overworking, really worth it?

A couple of years ago, while attending the Casey Summit (the pinnacle of all Investing shows) I had the pleasure of having drinks with Doug Casey (Guru of Investing) and a handful of his friends. Walking to the table, I had such butterflies in my stomach but after shaking his hand and sitting down I felt equal. Even being the only woman at the table of an “Old Boys Club,” I belonged. These men reflected about the day’s events and laughed and joked about the business of networking in the Stock Market world. I shocked myself at the level of conversation I held when Simon Black (Doug’s Beyond Borders Analyst) introduced me to the table beside us. The Boston Red Socks team…. No kidding! We were all staying in the same hotel because it was the world series. Luckily I was prepared with pocketful of business cards..because Simon passed my card out to the entire team. (I worked for a Gold & Silver Exploration company at the time.)

In January I had dinner with Bob Proctor (Law of Attraction Guru) and the entire cast of the Beyond the Secret movie. Since seeing the movie the Secret, I have been in awe of Bob. He is a fountain of inspiration and a wonderful source of wisdom…but he is Human! I overheard him ask the director about creating the movie into a business and how they would do that… I laughed inside when the director said, “Bob, we will Attract it to us!”

I have met so many un-believable humans who are accomplishing outstanding things… things at are beyond all reason…. but they are doing it…creation Solutions..and living in Possibility!

Even though some of my mentors have changed over time, I have learned from them more than I can express in just one blog. Through the wisdom of life’s lessons, experiences and network of supporters, I am creating a new system of business and a world that shines a light on corporations that do business with INTEGRITY, TRANSPARENCY and HONESTY. What Do I Do?

So, the things that are do are many... but since you asked I thought I would send you a note to let you know some of what I do. A part of me is shocked at all that I have been able to accomplish..so far. I write about my life experiences and interactions in order to share my authentic self with YOU.

I am married and am a mother to 6 children. Two are my bonus children that my husband had before I met him... and my oldest two boys are mine from my first marriage...then we had two..

I am a business woman who is building http://www.stockharmony.com/ ... I have extensive business experience including owning an Electrical company and working in the investing/ stock market world...Among other things. Stock Harmony is my way of highlighting companies that make a difference in the world...by doing business with integrity, transparency and honesty. In order to support this, I host a radio show called Stock Talk Radio...

Another part of what I do, is promote Peace...and Inspiration. To do this I host another radio show called Inspired by YOU on Planting Seeds for Peace Radio. I am working in conjunction with Lynne Hazelden to create a worldwide celebration in support of Peace One Day, Peace Jam, Jerusalem Peace Preschool, Kids for Peace [and many more]...to elevate their amazing work to highlight Peace. What Would You Do?

This weekend, my family and in-laws went camping across the border on the outskirts of a small U.S. city. We had a great time playing in the water, bike riding and hanging out around the fire. It was fun to just relax and enjoy the sound of laughter from the kids playing. While we were there, my sister in-law (Jenn) and my two oldest boys (Colten [15] & Keyten [12] decided to go shopping for some new school cloths.

When we pulled into a parking spot, we heard a woman yelling. The boys and Jenn got out of the truck and we shocked to see the woman throw her purse and start hitting the young teenager in front of her. I was still in the truck as Jenn yelled at me to come watch this… I got out in time to see her smash the boy again and pull him down the sidewalk by his hair.

I yelled across the parking lot for here to stop it. I said that I would call the police because that was child abuse. She yelled back, that the police told her to put her hands on him and that he needs to stop swearing at her, and that the police could not find him when he ran away. That I should tell the police that it was her that found him. She pulled the boy by his hair all the way to her vehicle, shoved him in and drove off.

We all stood in shock and horror at the scene that we just witnessed. If this is how this lady treated her son in public…what was going on behind closed doors? As my family came together to talk about what we had just witnessed we approached the boys friends that were sitting on the bench outside the mall doors. One of the kids had a cell phone in his hands so I asked if he was calling the police. I said that we were all witnesses to child abuse and we would speak up for the boy. The kids had obviously had seen this type of behavior by this woman before because they did not seem to be phased by it at all. They were his friends but appeared to be numb to it all.

My sister & my boys walked into the mall and spoke about how sickened we felt about the entire event. Jenn said no wonder the boy ran away, if that is how he is going to be treated at home, she would not want to be their either. It was obvious to us that the parenting at home was not working, and the boy was indeed a product of his environment. What was happening at home was not working, so he was seeking change… the change he found was running away. Perhaps not the best option, but doing the same thing over and over again as a parent…and expecting different results…was not working for the mother either. With this parenting role model in this 14 year olds daily life, what are his options?

Right inside the mall, with tears streaming down my cheeks, I held my son’s and told them how much loved them . Without caring who was watching they both hugged me back…and told me they knew that I did.

Paying It Forward

When I started the Daily OM Facebook group over a year ago, I did it as my way of Paying it Forward for the Dailyom.com I wanted to help get the word out about the amazing notes that were a gift, so I set out to find out more. The Road to Peace

All things first begin to form in Thought. Thoughts move into CONVERSATION and then progress into ACTION. Every great leader in all aspects of life started with a single thought, a divine inspiration. Over and over I hear statements like “thoughts become things”, “we are what we think”, “where attention goes energy flows,” and ‘“change your thoughts and you will change your world!” The same process applies to creating Peace on Earth. In years gone by, we have had an abundance of inspired leaders plant the seeds for the growth of Peace throughout our planet.

We have had amazing people pioneer the way by fearlessly standing tall in the belief that not only can we all live in harmony but we are all connected, our fundamental needs and desires are all the same. Throughout time these mentors have started the conversation about the possibilities of PEACE. Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy are just some of the dedicated Legends that helped to highlight the necessity for Peace.

Even though these phenomenal people have passed on; their Intention to make this world a better place still exists. All over the world people are talking, lighting candles, and living their talk of Peace. People have gathered together physically and in thought to connect into the collective consciousness in order to fulfill the objective of bringing about Peace on Earth. A great person in my life once told me that, “All things can be solved in conversation! ALL Things.” Are you being included in this conversation?

We have created a group on facebook called, “Celebrating the PEACE of Legends!” http://groups.to/peacelegends/ All sorts of people in our past and present are creating a medium open to all interested in contributing to the REVELOUTION of Peace. It is not a movement because a movement will come to an end at some point. This Peaceful revelation will transform the earth as we know it.

I am writing this note today with the intention of helping you understand that the universe does not choose the qualified, it qualifies the chosen. You do not have to be a prophet, have a huge network, have barrels of money or become a martyr in order to make a difference. All you have to do is join the conversation. So weather you join our facebook group or any of the other great groups, attend a prayer rally, or light a candle in the name of Peace, this is your invitation to become a part of something much greater than anything we have ever known. Become Peace with in and as the Law of Attraction suggests that like attracts like by turning to Peace we receive more of the same. Please know that uniting in Peace and peaceful actions you are changing your world. Be the Change.....

Customer Service is NOT Just a Department!

It is very important to know that… we Don’t know…what we Don’t know! This applies to everything from why someone may have cut us off on the highway, or why someone may be known as “the grumpy old man” , or what a person was doing just moments before returning an item.

WE don’t know..that perhaps the ‘rude’ person that cut you off in traffic, may be on their way to deliver a baby. The man that everyone refers to as grumpy, may be that way because he lived a very hard life, perhaps his pension fell through and he has to work as a crossing guard to pay his rent.. because he just lost his house. Or perhaps this elderly person had his drivers license taken away because his eyesight is failing, so every morning he rides his mobile cart across the bridge rain or shine.. just to get out of his house…or to go to the cemetery everyday without fail.. to visit his wife who passed away 15 years earlier.

My point with all of this is… our perspective makes all of the difference. When we see the entire picture and all of the events as a whole, our educated response will more often than not be completely different than it would have been when we only held partial information. With a different perspective, we would be able to show more compassion, love and understanding rather than rudeness and abruptness.

Saturday morning, my husband , a couple of our kids and I were at the retirement home in the city to visit his grandmother. She turned 90 in January and is holding on to this life until we are all ready to let her go. She was suffering from cardiac failure; she was still holding on. We visited for awhile even though she can no longer speak, we touched her hand, looked at pictures, sang to her and all held her probably for the last time. With tear stained checks we left about an hour later.

Since we were in the city, we went to a couple of stores to get ready for our son’s 5th birthday. While we were there, we brought some things back to the store for our sister in-law. The box was so heavy that my husband had to carry it in from the truck. We had the receipt, the cashier circled the items and rang it into the till. When she asked for the credit card that the items were purchased with.. we never had it, since the items were not bought by us… so I suggested applying it back onto the card (since they have the number on the receipt)..or store credit. The cashier called her supervisor to ask if that was alright.. she told her supervisor what was happening…and then she turned her back to us and whispered something in the phone. After hanging up the phone, she said…”we just can’t do it…it is store policy!”

Store Policy… what happened to the days where the customer is always right. When did corporations grow this amazing sense of entitlement? Without customers… there would be no corporation….so why are customers treated like cattle. The process of returning items is already inconvenient…now this time…it means that our sister in-law is going to have to make another hour long trip into the city..with her 2 – 5 year olds…and her 1 year old… while packing a box that is too heavy to carry… and start all over because she has the credit card that matches the receipt…all for $16.00.

Perhaps knowing that I was just visiting our dying grandmother may have made the difference .. in creating some compassion. Or knowing that we drove an hour to get to the city… or that my sister would be packing 3 little children after diving another hour to get to the store may have helped. Having retail management experience in my background, I know that there is always something that can be done to please a customer…. Because word of mouth is really everything, it is in the ‘stores’ best interest. How do you ever measure the implications of a person’s actions..or non-action. This $16.00 could cost the company the thousands and thousands of dollars that I would potential spend in this store over my lifetime… or perhaps the hundreds of thousands that my family might have spent… not to mention the millions of dollars of my readers.

Maybe this perspective would have made the difference. Perhaps looking past my glasses to see the tears that I held back for our Grandmother… What if..everyone that was in an industry of service..treated the customers like they had all come into the store after saying their last goodbye to someone they loved. What if..we ALL interacted with compassion, love and understanding?

Since we just don’t know, what we don’t know..what if we made “Customer Service” the attitude of gratitude… appreciation for the customers that come into our stores because without them… we would not have a job to begin with!

Climbing the Mountain to Reach my Goals...

A couple of days ago, I had the privilege of accomplishing one of my first summer goals... climbing to the very top of the mountain that I have looked at every morning out my office window since September when I moved here. I am sure that on the grand scale it would be considered a small mountain; however after hibernating all winter behind a nice warm keyboard, it was a monumental task to say the least.

My husband and I set out on our trek early on the bright sunny Sunday morning. Fashionably dressed in tank top, shorts and hiking boots, I was grateful to head out of site and into the woods. Even though the day prior I had hiked ¼ the way up the same mountain, with a couple of my children, I was determined to see where the rest of the trail would lead us. Since that part of our journey was 95% straight uphill… we decided it would be best to leave the children home.

As Brad and I made it to the point where I had ended the day before, I could not help but feel my body disagree with my current decision to go further. My back started to hurt and my feet felt every degree of incline in our progress up the path to the top of the timbers. Even with spotting a couple of locations where Bears no longer lingered, we kept going…until, my husband said, “Stop.” In fear I ran closer to him wondering if he might have to use the can of bear spray on his hip, all the while thinking about the jokes of how its true purpose was to ‘pepper the meat’ before the bears had their dinner and that bear bells were really just ‘dinner bells.’

My husband very carefully leaned over and moved some ferns from their resting place onside of the mountain. As I was about to ask him what the heck he was looking at, he said, “I don’t believe it!” I was expecting the worst when he pointed to… a frog! A frog ½ way up the side of the mountain with no visible water around. Once my head slowed back to pre-bear-attack thinking, I was able to be shocked as well.

Beyond all reason, there should be no water needing creatures in sight let alone a Frog! Since my mind works in symbols and analogies, I could not help but compare my mountain climbing adventure to that of the adventure of creating Stock Harmony. The mountain that we are on… is the world markets, current business ethics & practices. Every piece of deadfall and root blocking the trail…are the obstacles that we have had to overcome to get to this point in our climb to launch Stock Harmony. The beautiful flowers and foliage along the way… are our friends who are offering kind advice and encouragement. The massive fallen trees that were now visibly becoming one with the earth… symbolized the corporations that once stood mighty and proud, only to be blown over by winds because their values (roots) were not strong enough to hold them in this economy. The bear droppings & stinging nettle… well, you guess that one… The 95% slope that we are climbing to get to the top is the hard work and dedication that it will take in order to achieve our intention.

Two hours, two sunburns, sore knees, scraps, stings and uphill perseverance later, we were standing at
the very top ridge of our mountain overlooking the entire valley and our house. Even though my body was not happy for the majority of our trip, I was extremely grateful that I did not give in…and I achieved what we set out to do. Now I can look out my window every morning and think to myself, I did it, I made it to the very top! (of this peak)

As I sat there in the moment, in wonder of our accomplishment, I took in the majesty around me and again reflected. …even though, we have climbed to the summit and pre-launched Stock Harmony, as I look around, there are even higher mountains to climb…but this trip has helped given me the prospective and strength that I will need, when I climb the other mountains that are waiting for us to get to the top of them as well.

The journey home helped me appreciate the other 5%..the 5% that had now become, my new uphill.
Everything, which was previously uphill, had now become my downhill… and now my knees screamed at me every step of the way. Even though we saw that a bear had crossed our trail we thankfully never did cross his path! We made it home safely even after we misplaced the trail and got to climb over hectares of deadfall. (We even saw another frog!) This just helped reassure me that I was not in spry enough shape but it was also a good idea to withdraw my nomination to be on the television show ‘Man tracker.’

As I gaze out my window this morning looking at the mountains before me, I am not only thankful for the obstacles in my life to that I have had climb up to this point…but for the ones that are yet to come… because I know that I CAN…and so can YOU!

Let Go of Yesterday!

The present or the “Now” is our point of power. By thinking about the past in the present we allow the future to be the same as our past. However…we do have the ability to create a miracle in the present which will open up our present to endless possibilities. We have the ability to stop thinking yesterday’s thoughts which therefore re-programs our future. When we dwell on our “story” or the circumstances that we are experience we allow more of the same thoughts, feelings and actions to recreate themselves over and over again until we decide to change the pattern that we have formed.

Here is a little test that you can try…for a minute simply stop everything… just think nothing and then come back.

During that time of reflection what were you thinking? I know that I said to think nothing..but you were thinking..probably something like…”ok think nothing,” “How do I think nothing,” “nothing” “Nothing..hummm oh crap I have to switch the laundry,””this is dumb,” “ I forgot to do something at the office,” or “I need to make a phone call when I am done reading this,” “I am getting fat,” “Why am I doing this?”

Ok, so after thinking nothing… who was in your head ? Who was the one there observing the nothing thoughts that you were thinking? Who was the one that you were talking to? …
Right, it was YOU. You are the constant in all that you think, you are always the observer to your thoughts and your inner monolog. Thoughts are always there…so I ask? How many of the millions of thoughts that you have every single day are positive? Why do we hold onto core beliefs about ourselves that are negative and self destructive? These beliefs become our subconscious inner chatter… those thoughts came from something that we once heard either said about us or to someone else and then we adopted them for ourselves… those thoughts clip our wings and keep us small.

(Read this next paragraph as though..you are the author..) When I keep grasping onto the past, I remain in the same lesson and thoughts …and it feels as though nothing ever changes. To simplify things in my mind..since I am the keeper of my own thoughts..I have decided to take the position that everything happens from either a place of Love..or a place of fear. By asking myself what the lesson is for me, I allow myself the opportunity to learn the lesson and move on instead of being blindly stuck in the same lesson over and over again. Since the more times the lesson comes into my life, the more pain it creates. When I ignore the simple whispers of the lesson..it comes back to me bigger and louder until I take on the lesson.

The one constant that follows me into every relationship..is me. Therefore if I have the same type of relationship over and over..and sometimes over again… this leads me to believe that I am the reason. (notice..I never said ..”I am the one to blame,” ) I obviously have something to learn here..therefore it is up to me to “get it,” or… I will have the same lesson re-gifted to me over and over. The package may be different and the wrapping a little brighter…but once I open it up…hopefully this time…I can see the same lesson with fresh eyes; the eyes of perspective and the ability to see the same old thing in a different light.

Knowing that I am the director on the stage of my life …gives me the power, the power to choose, the power to decide the person that I will be..in the moment of NOW.
