Kony 2012 *Awarness is ACTION

Through a facebook message, my brother sent me a link to a half hour youtube video, (he knew I would share the heck out of this link.) With tears streaming down my cheeks I am writing this blog post to help Jacob and the Invisible Children to be seen around the world.

"Who am I to Stop a War? Who am I not too?"

Together WE can change the world!

Please watch the following videos. Awareness is ACTION!

Humbly,

Marcia

It is sad how many organizations stand in their own way of the cause they are working towards.

Here is what they are showing us:

KONY 2012

Joseph Kony is the worst living criminal. He has abducted over 30,000 children and forced them to be child soldiers in Central Africa. He remains at large because he is invisible to the world. Few know his name, even fewer know his crimes. This year, we are making Joseph Kony famous. Because when he is, the world will unite for justice and demand his arrest.

100% of the money donated to Invisible Children’s Kony 2012 campaign goes to area of greatest need, including our protection and rehabilitation work in Central Africa and spreading awareness about the conflict around the world. See Invisible Children's Protection Plan for more details about ongoing projects like the Early Warning Radio Network and the Rehabilitation Center for war affected children in the conflict area.

Invisible Children is a 501(c)3 nonprofit (54-2164338) and all donations are tax deductible. You will receive a confirmation email when you submit payment.

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
